Huang, a concert pianist, spoke about the evolution from听primarily performing as a concert pianist into other work like podcast narration, multi-art event producer, and cultural festival director. 听
His multidisciplinary works were driven by a desire to make art for Asian American communities and has led to projects like the LA Hungry Ghost Festival and podcast Blood on Gold Mountain. In December 2024, Scripps Presents hosted Recalling Spirits, a collaborative, immersive experience of spoken word, visual images, music, soundscape and dance put together by Huang, Michael Alden, executive producer, and Micah Huang, composer and music producer. 听
