麻豆区 invites the entire community to join us this GivingTuesday, taking place on December 2, 2025, by making a gift to The Scripps Fund. This year, we are kicking things off early with a special opportunity: thanks to the generosity of Carmen and Jim Ward, all gifts made before or on December 2 will be matched 1:1 up to $15,000 in support of internships at Scripps.听
Throughout the campaign, we will track our progress toward this year鈥檚 goal of 380 donors and share updates on the .听
Why Your Giving Matters听
The Scripps Fund is the College鈥檚 primary operational fund鈥攊t鈥檚 what helps keep Scripps Scripps. Gifts to The Scripps Fund go directly to the areas that sustain and enrich the student experience every single day, such as:听

- Academic programs and faculty support听
- Mental health and wellness resources听
Every gift, no matter the amount, makes an immediate and meaningful difference. Each year, alums, families, and friends come together to strengthen the College through their generosity, ensuring that current and future students have access to a transformative, rigorous, and deeply supportive liberal arts education.听
A Day for Collective Impact听
Since it began in 2012, GivingTuesday has grown into a global celebration of generosity and community action. It鈥檚 a moment to pause and make a positive impact amid the bustle of the holiday season.听
At Scripps, GivingTuesday reflects what our community does best: show up for one another. Gifts to The Scripps Fund/Parent Fund support 100 percent of students, helping the College meet needs where they are most urgent and shaping every part of campus life.听
Donors can and watch our collective progress unfold in real time. Supporters are also welcome to create their own challenges to encourage classmates, friends, parents, or affinity groups to participate.听
