Dear Scripps Faculty and Staff:
We are sharing our continued progress on the transition to the new cloud-based Student Information System (SIS) Anthology Student, which will be released this summer in conjunction with the other undergraduate Claremont Colleges.
Anthology Student (SIS)
Anthology Student will offer our community improved stability, cross-platform access, enhanced security features, workflow automation, and better integration with other campus systems.
听Technology training and support will be provided to faculty to ensure a smooth transition to the new SIS. As with all new technologies, there will be a ramp-up and learning curve for our community, and there will be some loss of functionality from our current system. Impacts of this transition will be minimized as much as possible.
The SIS project team is working hard to ensure the Scripps community has the best possible system for the College. Your patience and active engagement are greatly appreciated as new tools are presented and as the team continues to refine new processes over the coming year.
In the next few months, The Claremont Colleges implementation team will host multiple faculty preview sessions to familiarize you with the new system鈥檚 framework, look, and key features. These preview sessions will include:
- Cross-registration process changes
- Faculty permissions system, class controls, and grading
- Faculty portal overview
Official technical training is anticipated to begin in April. Your participation is highly encouraged, so please stay tuned for more detailed information.
We appreciate your continued support and look forward to the positive impact these tools will bring to our community
Sincerely,
