麻豆区, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for a part-time lecturer in French, to teach 3 courses in Fall 2026. The appointment will begin on August 1 and end on December 31, 2026.
The Fall 2026 courses are MTWR:
FREN1 Introductory to French, 9-9:50am
FREN22 Intensive Introductory to French, 11-11:50am
FREN33 (Intermediate French) 10-10:50
Ph.D. in French preferred, ABD in French will be considered. Native or near-native fluency is required. College teaching experience (in-person) required. The salary for this position will be $25,650 to $28,500 and will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. In light of recent federal updates to visa processing and associated costs, the College is generally not in a position to sponsor visas for faculty appointments.
